Product specification
Reusable and highly efficient metal abrasive media, of sharp-edged grains.
Three different hardness values:
  • GH: hardness: min. 700 HV (min. 60 HRC)
  • GL: hardness: 570 — 710 HV
  • GP: hardness: 470 — 610 HV

    Carbon (C):0,8 (m/m) — 1,2(m/m)
    Manganese : 0,35 (m/m) — 1,2(m/m)
    Silicon (Si):min. 0,4(m/m)
    Sulfur (S):max. 0,05(m/m)

    25-kg bags placed on a wooden pallet and wrapped with heat shrinkable foil.

    Applications:
  • roughing metal surfaces prior to applying protective coatings
  • removal of old protective coatings
  • removal of metallurgical and rolling scales from metallurgical products
  • blasting cast steel and cast iron castings from scales, or following their annealing or hardening processes
